SAILING BOATS

Whether you are looking for modern yachts or traditional gulet sailing ships

You will need to know more about the service on board as well as the preparation before a cruise.

Crew on a gulet
It is important to know how important the crew onboard a gulet cruise will be. The number of crew members depends on the size of the ship. Bigger gulet ships have more crew members and smaller gulets, have just the essential crew members. You can find below the essential crew members on board a gulet ship and their duties during your cruise:

  • CAPTAIN: every ship needs a captain and so does every gulet. The captain coordinates sailing and navigation and he has the final say about the route of the ship. The captain is the best person to show you the most amazing places on your cruise.
  • CHEF: after the captain comes the chef. The chef will make your cruise a wonderful trip. He is responsible for all the meals prepared and shared on board. So hope for a great chef on board your cruise.
  • WAITER: a waiter helps with the dishes and other kitchen tasks. He works alongside the chef to ensure that meals are served properly.
  • SAILOR: A sailor is like an assistant of the captain. The sailor ensures that everything related to sailing is in a great condition. He takes care of all the navigation and sailing responsibilities.

Preparations Before You Cruise
We recommend you take those things along with on your gulet cruise:

  • Sun glasses
  • Sun cream
  • A swimming suit
  • A couple of pants and shirts
  • Your hygiene products that you use everyday
  • A book that you like

During the Cruise
The limitless places and things to do give you unlimited options and ideas for your cruise. All it really takes is for you to make some good arrangement and plans. If you are going to be cruising as a family or group, decide on the things you want to do on the cruise beforehand.
